The Forest River Wildwood FSX 179DBK 2020 is a compact and versatile travel trailer designed for comfortable camping experiences. Our 179DKB was purchased in April of 2020, and was actually manufactured in 2019 prior to the pandemic. We have not experienced any of the issues that others may have due to the excess COVID camper demand.

This model measures 22.5 feet in length, 7.5 feet in width, and has an exterior height of 10 feet. It's lightweight, with a dry weight of 3,224 lbs. and a hitch weight of 480 lbs., making it easy to tow. The 179DBK sleeps up to 6 people and features a space-saving RV queen Murphy bed that doubles as a sofa during the day. For additional sleeping arrangements, it includes double-size bunks, perfect for accommodating extra guests or children.

We have had a fantastic time with our camper, we are just outgrowing it. The camper has treated us great. We have put no more than 5,000 miles on the camper since getting it. We purchased the camper from Camping World and have completed all of our services with them. We have copies of the maintenance details should you want them. We have had the roof resealed twice in 2022 and in 2024. We had the bearings repacked once in 2022. We do many of the smaller details like resealing around windows and lights ourselves. We had an issue where our lights and fan were out, and it was determined that a ground was missing and was repaired.

We have made some minor modifications to the camper:



Replaced the bathroom faucet



Installed a soap dispenser in the shower



Removed the bulkhead underneath the table



Installed an additional vent in the AC unit to better distribute the air flow



Installed a battery cutoff switch to prevent drain on the battery



Replaced the Castle Rock original tires with Goodyears

We are willing to include all of our supplies. If you are a first-time camper, this could save you quite a bit. Our accessories were about $750 when we purchased them new.
